The union actively collaborates with various trade unions to build and maintain sustainable relationships that focus on the collective pursuit and protection of workers' rights. This cooperation is vital for strengthening the voice of workers in various sectors and ensuring that their interests are adequately represented.

To amplify their efforts, UG partners with both local and international unions that share common goals and interests. Some of the prominent partners include the Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (POPCRU), the Botswana Public Employee's Union (BOPEU), the West African Federation of Trade Unions (WAFTU), and Public Services International (PSI), an international federation that champions the rights of public service workers worldwide.

As unions, we bring diverse perspectives and resources to the table, enhancing the collective strength of the Labour movement. We tackle issues such as labor rights violations, wage disparities, and unsafe working conditions more effectively. This cooperative approach not only benefits the workers represented by these unions but also enhances the overall landscape of labor relations, fostering a more equitable and just environment for all workers.
